Our second Guest Artist Soirée will feature Mark Eubanks, bassoon. Together with Tom Simon, piano; Mike Jones, drums; and Michael Simon, bass, Mark will play jazz music with classical crossover.
Whitstock is a free 3-hour concert to be held March 25th at 7 PM for all faculty, staff and their families. (Yes, you will need your Whitman-issued ID to get in the door). There will be food, beverages and lots of music!

Wildwood Park's CD "A Beauty in Her Day" will be released in concert on October 30 at the GESA Power House Theatre. Produced by Bruce Kaphan, the album features great performances by this band featuring Anna Burgess (violin, voice), Jesse Burgess (guitars, piano) and Aaron Burgess (guitars). It was recorded in part by Michael Simon and Coffee Ring Studios.
The concert will feature performances of all the songs from the album with guest appearances by Bruce Kaphan, Doug Scarborough, and Michael Simon.

Scarborough’s CD entitled “Bridges” mixes elements of jazz and Middle Eastern music. Performed live by Doug Scarborough, trombone (Whitman College); and special guests Jeremy Siskind, piano (Western Michigan University); Gary Hobbs, drums (U. of Oregon); Mahmoud Shaikhhussein, darbuka; and Michael Simon, bass (Whitman College).
